SEMINAR IN METRO MANILA AREA FOR INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIP GROUP (IPR): ENRICHMENT OF HUMAN RELATIONSHIPS

PASTORS/CHURCH OFFICERS, PROFESSORS/INSTRUCTORS, ALLIED HEALTH CARE
(MD, RN, MSW) AND MARRIED COUPLES.
The Pastoral and Spiritual Care Training Center offers 3 days training seminar October 21, 22,23 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm for ministers, church officers professors, instructors, staff of Colleges and Universities and married couples to enhance human relationships where anger, hurt, intimacy, love, care and warmth for each other are openly identified, affirmed, recognized and celebrated in an attempt to find out their valued meanings.
DAILY SCHEDULE:
- OCTOBER 21, INTRAPERSONAL (SELF AWARENESS AND SPIRITUALITY).
- OCTOBER 22, INTERPERSONAL (SELF AND OTHERS AND SPIRITUALITY.
- OCTOBER 23, MORNING SESSION: LECTURE ON HUMAN SEXUALLITY EXPLORING ITS CONTEMPORARY MEANINGS. AFTERNOON SESSION (OPEN FORUM) ON HUMAN RELATIONSHIPS. LIVED PRESENTATIONS OF REAL LIFE EXPERIENCES-PROCESSING FEELINGS, ACCEPTING THE UNACCEPTABLE, MENDING AND ENHANCING HUMAN RELATIONSHIPS, THERAPEUTIC LISTENING.
TRAINING GOALS: Three competencies are to be developed: (1) intrapersonal (self) awareness, (2) interpersonal (self and others) awareness, (3) spiritual (formation and nurture) awareness.
The goal is to be transparent and authentic to oneself in relationship with others. This experience will lead to a deeper awareness of oneself in discovering our common humanity with each other. Thus, the forming of genuine and authentic relationships with fellow teachers in the academic campus or members of faith community are made possible. Therefore, the sustaining presence of living together as fellow workers, church members and married couples in genuine, loving, caring, and transparent relationships are affirmed and celebrated.
Training Fee: Two hundred fifty pesos (250) per person per 1 day session. This fee can be waived in lieu of “love gift offerings” from participants and sponsoring agency.
Proceeds will go towards tuition scholarship for doctoral students in the College of Theology, CPU.
ADMISSION: OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. REGISTRATION REQUIRED.
FOOD AND LODGING: PARTICIPANTS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE
